A man and his son are in a car crash. They both go to different hospitals in different ambulances. The surgeon looks down at the boy and says "I can't operate on this boy - he's my son". What is the relation between the boy and the surgeon?

    - "this boy" is the man's son

Hmm.. "A man and his son" It's hard, because those words do not specify who the man is. If it said " A Father and his son" it would make more sense.
However it says "A man so the boy cannot possibly be his son. Even though it says that the boy is his son. so perhaps that the surgeon could be his Godfather, or his step-father. This could also apply to the man.

Hmm.. this is differcult and im not sure this is the right answer.
